If you schedule a remote session but will not be present and want me to connect on my own, you will need to disable sleep mode so that your computer doesn’t go to sleep, which will prevent me from connecting.
- Click Start > Settings
- Click System
- On the left side, click Power & Sleep. Then on the main window, under Sleep > When plugged in… click the drop-down menu and change the setting to Never.
Once the remote session is complete you can change the sleep setting back to what it originally was.
